Scope of Works

Architectural Roofing Services, a trusted and experienced Sydney Lead Roofing specialists undertook a lead roofing restoration project at NSW Government heritage site at Macquarie St, Sydney NSW 2000. 

• Supply and installation of 30kg / m2 lead sheeting at the NSW Government heritage listed site at a prominent location in Sydney. A 30kg lead sheet fabricated by experienced leadworker turned down over front copper sheeting to form straight edge in locked joints.

With All Lead Roofing Sydney project, Architectural Roofing Services uses premium grade 99.9% Lead material for all our roofing projects supplied by Midland Lead Australia. 

• The lead sheeting  installed into stone joint of heritage building and secured with lead wedges driven into stonework. Once secure lead sheeting is shaped over the front and tucked under copper clips.

 

• Once the lead has been installed and shaped over the stonework, an elastomeric joint with the back rod is installed to seal the stone lead joint from the water entry. 

 

• A coat of patination oil was applied to newly installed leadwork to givelead sheeting a protective shine and leave building looking great again.
